We’re continuing with the staff interviews. Today we’re introducing Donna, aka the Design Juggler. She is Barbara Miller’s right hand man, and basically does just about everything. While we were coming up with titles, Barbara’s son told us we should call Donna the “monkey” because she’s so good at picking up all the pieces!
Interview with Donna, Design Juggler (and driver of a sweet ride)
1. What car do you drive? White Dodge Grand Caravan – because we are always carpooling to something!
2. Do you have any bumper stickers? Unfortunately my Mickey Mouse car emblem broke off. I do have a sticker in the window: I (Heart) My Library, and I have a Girl Scouts sticker too. Go ahead – make fun!
3. What were your favorite books as a child? I have a picture of me reading “The I Hate Mathematics Book” and I remember it well! I bought it for my daughter who enjoys it too. It really makes you love math!
4. What was your least favorite food as a child? Lasagna – I love Veggie Lasagna now however.
5. What is your favorite holiday? I’m told Halloween isn’t actually a holiday, so I’ll say Christmas, but I love both!
6. What were you most afraid of as a child? I was afraid of the dark so I liked my bedroom door open, but my sister (and roommate) was afraid of fire so she liked the door closed. This was a real door-slamming argument in our house for a while.
7. Describe your family. I am married with two kids (a 9 year old boy and 11 year old girl) and we have one little dog, Suzy-Q.
8. If you could be a fairy tale character, who would you be? Is there a character that eats chocolate all of the time but stays lean and healthy?! Definitely no curds and whey for me! …Barbara must be the fairy tale character that lives in the shoe – with lots of children! But she knew what to do!
